Gerry and Helga Levasseur were both honored with the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal (Alberta), by MLA Searle Turton for their many contributions to the community and the province of Alberta.
The commemorative medal was created by the Government of Alberta to mark the 70th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth ll’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada.
The Queen Elizabeth ll’s Jubilee Medal is a tangible way to honor Queen Elizabeth for her life of service to this Province and Country. At the same time, it serves to honor significant contributions and achievements by Albertans during the Platinum Jubilee year.
